In a different world, we could've been a fun kind of disaster. But I was too much of a coward, and we were both married to our duties. Maybe it's better that the pieces fell differently.

[Raha will decidedly not point out that he'd been planning on dying for most of that time and therefore proooobably would have rebuffed anything anyway. Probably. If he was strong enough.

He does smile a little, looking back up at Amal.]

So he gives Raha the opportunity to decide where this is going, merely letting his fingertips linger on the Miqote's cheek.]
